The Basics About Hardware About Software The Internet Keeping your Computer Happy

Computing for Humans

Confuzled.com is dedicated to providing very simple, basic information for new computer users.

Our audience is that vast, weary army of ordinary people struggling to understand what that thing on their desk can do besides make weird noises and pretty screen savers once in a while.

We extend our arms to the masses of puzzled newbies yearning for simple computer answers -- answers that don't leave them even more confuzled than they were before they asked.

Yes, these are our people; and for them we strive to do the following:

  • To blatantly ignore most of the finer points of technology in favor of simple, easy-to-understand information.

  • To gleefully oversimplify complex concepts, even at the expense of technical accuracy (gasp!).

  • To ignore some things altogether. Nobody cares about those things anyway. Trust us. We know.

  • And finally, for those who do want to dip their toes into the unknown waters of more advanced technological concepts, to provide links to places where they can do so -- at their own risk, of course.

These are our noble goals, and to these goals we pledge ourselves.
